The international conference and Symposium titled `What Japanese Civil Society can do? Towards 2008 G8 Summit in Japan' was held on 14th October 2007.(Tamachi, Tokyo) This event is co-organized by 2008 Japan G8 Summit NGO Forum and Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation (JANIC), supported by Japan Foundation.
The participants, recorded more than 230, had attentively listened the key-note presentation by the guest speakers from the countries of Africa and Asia. In the afternoon session, the participants together with the guest speakers went into a deep discussion of the issues and concerns in the sectoral meetings.
