2008 Japan G8 Summit NGO Forum first anniversary
NGO and the Government G8 Dialogue

It has been a year since 2008 Japan G8 Summit NGO Forum was established.
NGO Forum has been working for advocacy activities and workshops around the issues of
environment, human rights, peace, poverty and development.
Now that a year has gone by, our activities and tasks toward Toyako Summit in July are to be shared at this conference.
Mr. Kono, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affaires
Mr. Kojima, Vice-Minister for Global Environmental Affairs, Ministry of the Environment
will be invited to this conference and talk about issues that are to be discussed at the Toyako Summit.
Later on, NGO and the government officials will exchange their views on the issues.
