Design Policy of Logo

The logo seen on the front page expresses NGOs' and citizens' strong will to deliver their wishes for the world's future to the G8 leaders.
Tanzaku, or paper strips, with traditional Japanese colors, symbolize proposals for solutions to such global issues as the environment, poverty, peace and human rights, and the unity and diversity of NGOs that have gathered across their specialized sectors.
The Tanzaku is complete with a message written by individual citizens. We invite as many citizens as possible to express their thoughts, wishes or vows for the earth, world, people and their future because "We can change the world."
